Kamen Dimitrov was born in 1952. He is working in the field of Art since 1979. He has University degree in medicine and in nuclear measurements.

He did his first paintings on canvas with oils when he was 17 years old under the supervision of the famous Romanian artist Vintila Stefanescu.

He started professional work in the field of the Fine Art in 1986 with his first participation in International Art show organized by the famous Sardinian Gallery – La Bacheca, Italy.
He worked in Italy under the supervision of the famous Italian professor Giovanni Maesano.
He has participations in international exhibitions and competitions.

In Bulgaria he has one solo art show – “Festa Hotels”- Sofia, and many participations in exhibitions in Varna /gallery – LePapilon/, Sofia, Bourgas, Pomorie and Pleven.

He is working mostly in the style of realism and exclusively oils on canvas, wooden board or cellulose plates. His favorite subjects are the sea, countryside landscapes and scenes from the Bible. He has many years experience in sailing and this makes seascapes his most favorite.

Many of his works are commissioned for private collections or for galleries. His pictures are in private collections in USA, Canada, Turkey, New Zealand, and Europe.
